A legal decision on the ownership of false teeth....
Good news, your choppers are not chattels.
A peculiar suit has been decided in St. Paul, Minn. In the case of Charles A. Vanduce vs William J. Woolsey, it has been claimed that the sheriff could take possession of the plate to which the false teeth were attached and dispose of the whole at a public auction. But Judge Kelly has decided that a dentist has no lien on a set of teeth on a plate after...

South 12th: A beacon for all Twin Citians. →
southtwelfth:
One of my favorite pieces of anything I read last year was Dan Sinker’s extended, real-time novella of fake @MayorEmanuel tweets. It was great for many reasons, but principally because it started as a not-that-funny one-off joke (Rahm Emanuel likes to say “fuck”), and then, once it had captured…
This question deserves an answer. The Twin Cities deserve the search for...

Self-report measures of rumination, indecision, and creativity were electronically distributed to 85 adults (28 men, 57 women; M age = 32.96 years old). Reflective rumination...

Windsor Wabbit →
An impressively detailed account of the terror that was the design process for the South Dakota State University Jackrabbits. It caught my eye because of the Windsor inspired version submitted by one Tony Horning from, where else but, the Windsor capital of the world, Minnesota! Maybe that won’t be the captivating moment for you but it was a funny twist for me.
Other highlights include...
